Welcome to Cookpal. These Terms form an agreement between you and Mijing Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for your use of the app.

By using the app, you understand and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

1. Services

  • Voice-guided cooking and recipe recommendations.
  • Ingredient and heat recognition when you choose to authorize camera use.
  • Taste preferences, cooking timers, cooking records, and repeat-cooking history.

2. User account

  • You register and sign in with a phone number.
  • Keep your account information secure and do not sell, transfer, or lend the account.
  • Contact us if you notice account security risks.

3. User conduct

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China.
  • Do not attack, crack, reverse engineer, or abuse service resources.
  • Do not copy, distribute, or commercially use app content without permission.

4. AI service notice

  • AI-generated recipes and cooking suggestions are for reference and are not professional nutrition or food-safety advice.
  • For spoilage, allergens, or other food-safety matters, use professional judgment.
  • We keep improving the service but do not guarantee perfect accuracy.

5. Service usage

  • The app uses an energy-point system to measure AI service usage.
  • New users receive initial energy points after registration.
  • Rules may change as the product evolves, and we will explain changes in the app.

6. Intellectual property

  • The app software, interface, icons, and copy belong to Mijing Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
  • Your personal preference and cooking-record data belongs to you.

7. Disclaimer

  • We are responsible as required by law for force majeure, third-party service issues, or losses caused by improper operation.
  • For food safety, use your on-site judgment and professional advice rather than relying only on AI suggestions.

8. Changes to these Terms

  • For major changes, we will notify you in the app. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

9. Termination

  • These Terms end when you delete your account, materially breach the Terms, or the app stops operating.

10. Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If negotiation fails, either party may bring a claim to a competent court where Mijing Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is located.
