Ingredients and amounts

  • 220 g green beans
  • 100 g pork belly
  • 20 g olive vegetable (canned)
  • 10 g garlic
  • 10 g bird's eye chili

Step-by-step method

  1. Step 1

Wash the green beans, remove the strings, and cut into evenly sized pieces.

  2. Step 2

Smash the garlic cloves and mince them.

  3. Step 3

Cut the bird's eye chili into small, even pieces.

  4. Step 4

Remove the skin from the pork belly and mince it.

  5. Step 5

Heat the wok, add 20 ml of oil to coat the surface, then pour out the hot oil. Add 10 ml of cold oil (hot wok, cold oil technique) to prevent the minced pork from sticking.

  6. Step 6

If you don't have an oil bottle for this, simply add the oil and minced pork directly to the wok. Stir-fry over low heat for 2 minutes to render the pork fat.

  7. Step 7

Once the pork is fragrant, add the minced garlic, olive vegetable, and bird's eye chili. Stir-fry until aromatic.

  8. Step 8

Add the green beans and stir-fry over medium heat for at least 5 minutes. Ensure the beans are thoroughly cooked to avoid food poisoning.

  9. Step 9

When the beans are cooked, drizzle 2 ml of soy sauce along the edge of the wok. Add 2 g salt, 1 g chicken bouillon powder, 1 g white pepper, and 0.5 g sugar.

  10. Step 10

    Stir-fry everything until well combined.

  11. Step 11

Transfer to a plate and serve.
