Ingredients and amounts

  • 2 fresh shiitake mushrooms
  • 30 g beech mushrooms
  • 150 g lean pork
  • 100 g pineapple
  • 1 egg
  • 500 ml cooking oil
  • 5 g white sugar
  • 100 g cornstarch
  • 5 ml light soy sauce
  • 5 g chicken bouillon
  • 5 g minced ginger
  • 2 g sesame seeds
  • 20 g ketchup
  • 2 ml black vinegar

Step-by-step method

  1. Step 1

Cut the lean pork into 2-3 cm pieces and place in a large bowl. Add 1 egg, 50 g cornstarch, 3 ml light soy sauce, and 2 g chicken bouillon.

  2. Step 2

Stir thoroughly until the cornstarch coats the pork pieces (add more cornstarch if too wet, or water if too dry). Then add 5 ml oil, mix well, and set aside.

  3. Step 3

In another bowl, combine ketchup, 3 g chicken bouillon, 2 ml light soy sauce, minced ginger, white sugar, 10 g cornstarch, black vinegar, and 200 ml cold water. Stir well and set aside.

  4. Step 4

Cut the pineapple and prepare 6 pieces, each 1.5-2 cm in size.

  5. Step 5

Heat a wok and pour in 500 ml oil. Heat until you hear the sizzling sound of oil.

  6. Step 6

Add the pork pieces one by one into the oil (do not pour them all in at once), ensuring they do not stick together.

  7. Step 7

Once all pork is added, flip the pieces every 30 seconds using a spoon until the surface turns golden brown.

  8. Step 8

Remove the pork. After 1 minute, return them to the oil and fry again until the surface turns deep golden brown. Remove and set aside in a large bowl.

  9. Step 9

Heat the wok, pour in the sauce mixture. After 30 seconds, add the pork and pineapple pieces. Stir-fry thoroughly, then remove from the wok.

  10. Step 10

    Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
